Description:

This course is designed to prepare individuals to be professional yoga teachers. It reflects the role and skills needed to teach yoga at basic to intermediate level in a group setting or one-on-one situation.
This course will provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to instruct yoga classes and practices like pranayama, mindfulness, and meditation using yoga philosophical frameworks. They will be able to apply anatomy and physiology to yoga teaching promoting health, demonstrating sequencing skills, the progressive practice of postures, instructional techniques, and postural alignment, as well as current yoga business practices and professional standards and ethics.
Graduates will guide a wide range of yoga clients’ learning process from beginners to intermediate level with the aim of enhancing their health and wellbeing.
