This qualification reflects the role of individuals who undertake specialist resilience and risk management roles, both internally and externally to an organisation. These roles include cross-industry tasks and responsibilities relating to corporate governance and risk management, business continuity, crisis management, leadership, innovation and high performance/high reliability teams.
Individuals in these roles have autonomy in performing tasks, apply solutions to a range of often complex and ambiguous problems, and research, analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They apply their initiative to plan and respond, to lead teams, to manage change, to coordinate and evaluate programs, to challenge and facilitate risk-based conversations, and to establish and maintain high performance/high reliability teams.
