Description:

The purpose of the course is to produce performing arts professionals who are highly skilled across the disciplines of dance, acting and singing at a professional level. The course is structured to produce performers that are industry ready and skilled at a competitive level in order to provide them the edge when auditioning for performing roles.
This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, and skills to perform the following functions associated with the performing arts:
• apply musical theatre performance techniques to a professional level and manage stagecraft aspects of performances
• perform singing, dancing and acting in a wholly integrated set of skill
• perform ballet, contemporary dance, jazz and tap at a professional level
• create choreography and repertoire for stage and screen
• apply sustainable professional practice and incorporate nutrition principles into own development
• work professionally in the creative arts industry and apply work health and safety practices to ensure the safety of self and others
• apply technique for audition and rehearse at the professional level
