Description:
The Diploma of Contract Management is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participants, covering the planning, administration and managing of contracts, while looking at legal and risk elements associated with contract management, in the following competency areas:
• Ability to plan contracts and their management
• Undertake negotiations throughout all phases of a contract
• Manage the procurement requirements of the contract
• Manage supplier relations of contracts
• Manage the human resources associated with contracts
• Manage risks identified and associated with contracts
• Assist with managing WHS compliance of contractors
• Manage contract budgets and forecasts associated with contracts
• Manage the contract and ensure performance
• Manage issues that are associated and arise with contracts
• Close and finalise contracts
• Strategies for review of contracts upon completion
• Ability to chair meetings to produce productive outcomes associated with all aspects of the contract
• Manage own professional development and supporting others in theirs to ensure the correct skills and knowledge exist within the team
