Description:

Vocational outcomes
The outcomes will allow individuals who are involved in works affecting heritage-listed buildings, structures and their surrounds, but no formal understanding of heritage conservation and management, to make decisions relating to heritage-listed assets.
This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:
• Identification of legal and social context of heritage management
• Identification of project opportunities and constraints of heritage management
• Identification and management of the risks and project constraints in managing a heritage project
• Identification of contract requirements affecting heritage management
• Monitoring of work practices for heritage compliance
• Maintaining records in accordance with legislative, contractual and organisational requirements
