Description:
This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, and work skills necessary for any workplace. Graduates will be able to perform the following functions across all industry sectors and ultimately enhance their own career:
• Communicate and relate to others in a manner that promotes cooperation and workplace harmony
• Act with discretion and judgement in all facets of their work role
• Adapt and transfer their knowledge and skills in self-management, relationships, professionalism and ethics to their work role, team members and clients.
• Take responsibility for own outputs in work and learning including participation in teams and taking limited responsibility for the output of others within established parameters
• Apply their knowledge and skills in communication and problem solving to use known solutions to a variety of predictable problems and to use their initiative and innovative skills to deal with unforeseen contingencies using learnt techniques and methodologies
• Demonstrate personal workplace resilience and provide limited emotional support to other team members
• Apply corporate responsiveness in their approach to their work role and productivity
