Description:
This course prepares individuals to function as professional teachers in the practice of yoga. It reflects the role and skills needed to teach yoga at an advanced level in a group setting, one on one situation or to individuals with special needs.

It includes instruction in the principles and philosophy of yoga, warm-up and warm down, progressive practise of postures, breathing practices, advanced asana and pranayama techniques, advanced meditation and relaxation, instructional techniques, posture adjustment, practitioner/client assessment, business practices, and professional standards and ethics.

Graduates will guide a wide range of yoga practitioners’ learning process from beginners to advanced level with the aim of enhancing their health, flexibility and strength.
