Description:

This course prepares individuals to function as professional teachers in the practice of yoga. It reflects the role and skills needed to teach yoga at a basic to intermediate level in a group setting or one on one situation.

It includes instruction in the principles of yoga, applying anatomy and physiology to yoga teaching, warm-up and warm down, progressive practise of postures, breathing practices, instructional techniques, business practices, and professional standards and ethics.

Graduates will guide the learning process of beginners to intermediate level yoga practitioners with the aim of enhancing their health, flexibility and strength.
