This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to apply a Meaning Centred approach to therapy (Logotherapy) to their therapeutic practice.
The course addresses a diverse range of needs for individuals in the health sector. Viktor Frankl’s therapeutic insights and his understanding of the human person have provided the foundation for much of the support provided today in the human services sector. This course will unify concepts that are expressed in different ways in various disciplines in the health sector and provide a unifying approach to the human condition for practitioners in a range of professional roles. For counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists it will provide an alternative approach and set of professional skills to add to existing therapeutic techniques. For all health industry professionals, it will provide an approach that can be utilized as appropriate in client care, an approach that emphasizes personal worth and purposeful living.
