Description:
• Aboriginal Family Health workers, Aboriginal Health workers, sexual assault and family violence counsellors employed by NSW Health
• Aboriginal industry partners employed by other government and non-government agencies i.e. Counsellors, Safe House Workers, Refuge Workers, Court Support Workers, Early Childhood workers, Mental Health, Witness Assistance Officers.

Function/duty/specialist skill:
• Contribute to strategies to address family violence, sexual assault and child protection in Aboriginal communities,
• Maintain strategies that educate communities about the nature, extent and impact of these issues,
• Consult with Aboriginal community members to address family violence, sexual assault and child abuse/neglect,
• Evaluate inter-agency strategies to promote safety issues Implement community development strategies to address family violence, sexual assault and child abuse,
• Deliver culturally sensitive responses to individuals and families
