Description:
This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, and skills to perform the following functions associated with a Pilates instructor and practitioner specific with the allied health and complementary health sector:
• Pilates Movement Therapy (PMT) practitioners/instructors deliver classes in Pilates to the public to enhance their general health and well- being and/or for health rehabilitation
• PMT practitioners/instructors work independently as an allied health professionals to engage clients from a physiotherapeutic context.
• PMT practitioners/instructors are employed as Pilates practitioners/instructors within Pilates studios or may be self-employed as owner/operator for their own studio.
