Description:

This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, and skills to perform the following functions of first aid responders to sick or injured children between 0-12 years:

• Confidence when dealing with children in a first aid emergency
• Signs and symptoms of illness displayed by children
• Recognition of the sick or injured child
• Understanding of the general physiological responses of the sick child
