Description
This skill set is designed for people wishing to attach flexible cords and plugs for voltages operating to 250 volts. These competencies are in addition to competencies already gained in the relevant field to which the electrical work is incidental or a primary and regular function of the work. Learners will be developing skills in working safely on electrical cords and plugs, selecting and using testing and measuring devices; terminating and connecting cords and plugs to Australian Standards; safety testing and reporting on electrical cords and plugs.

The units of competency in this skill set will contribute to the completion of relevant CII, CIII and CIV qualifications from the UEE11 Electrotechnology Training Package. Please consult the packaging rules of the relevant qualification for further advice.

The units of competency in this skill set are for people holding a relevant electrotechnology qualification at a CII or higher and the work is incidental or a primary and regular function of work related to a principle work function.
