Qualification details

Release 3 . This is the third release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package. With the following general elective units updated:

• TLIX0067 Manage and monitor technical data and information systems
• TLIX0069 Manage contracted support services.

Release 2 . This is the second release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package. With the following general elective units updated:

• PSPGEN125 Support workplace coaching and mentoring
• SITEEVT033 Develop event transport plans
• TLIF0045 Investigate rail safety incidents.

Release 1.  This is the first release of this qualification in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.

This is a general qualification for the integrated management of logistics.

Achievement of this qualification will require the self-directed application of knowledge and skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for self and others.

Applications involve participation in the development of strategic initiatives as well as personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organising others. It may include participation in teams, including those concerned with planning and evaluation functions. Group or team coordination may be involved.

Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

• logistics manager.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

A total of 15 units of competency  comprising:

• 2 core units  listed below, plus 
• 7 technical elective units  from Group A technical elective units listed below, plus 
• 6 general elective units  from Group B general elective units or remaining technical elective units listed below.

Up to 3 of the general elective units  may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
