Qualification Description
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to coordinate and administer the installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of a range of networks, enterprise servers and systems, including internetworking, security and e-business solutions.
An individual with these skills may be part of a team or provide services as an independent information and communications technology (ICT) specialist.

Total number of units = 18
12 core units plus
6 elective units
The elective units consist of:
- up to 6 from the elective units listed below
- up to 3 from elsewhere in ICT Information and Communications Technology Training Package at Advanced Diploma level
- up to 3 from any other Training Package or accredited course at Diploma or Advanced Diploma level.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
