Description:
This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to perform the following functions associated with some specific procedures within the dental profession including providing dentists:
• with knowledge and skill base for undertaking aesthetic orthodontics
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to take comprehensive diagnostic and treatment planning records for sequential aligner therapy
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in diagnosis and treatment planning for sequential aligner therapies
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to perform aligner fit and placement of attachments for sequential aligner therapy enabling them to deliver safe and effective sequential aligner therapy treatment
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in the methods of space formation during sequential aligner therapy.
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to monitor sequential aligner therapy throughout the duration of treatment and to deal with any issues that arise.
• with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in providing patients with retention upon completion of sequential aligner therapy and dealing with cases of relapse of dentition
• with thorough knowledge of facial and dental aesthetics allowing them to provide patients with comprehensive aesthetic treatment plans for sequential aligner therapy.
